About Sinhala Union
The Sinhala Union is dedicated to promoting the Sinhala language, which is spoken by approximately 16 million people. With a focus on fostering a deep appreciation for Sinhala literature and culture, the union aims to enhance students' language skills and cultural understanding. Under the guidance of teachers-in-charge, including Ms. Sherina Silva and Ms. Annette Kahanawita for Grades 6 to 8, the Sinhala Union provides a supportive environment for students to engage in various activities that celebrate their linguistic heritage. The union's initiatives encourage students to explore the richness of the Sinhala language while developing their communication skills and confidence.
