Home Economics room

The Home Economics Centre, a vital hub for nurturing essential life skills, underwent a comprehensive renovation and reopened its doors on January 1st, 2006. This modern facility provides daily practical sessions for all girls from Grades 6 to 11, with occasional access granted to our younger students.

The Home Economics Centre is a haven for aspiring homemakers. Equipped with a comprehensive array of utensils and modern appliances, from basic cutlery to ovens, the centre offers a practical and engaging learning environment. During each session, accommodating 40-50 students, proper attire is emphasized, with all girls required to wear head dresses, aprons, and serviettes.

The overarching goal of the Home Economics Centre is to equip our young women with the knowledge and skills necessary for responsible and fulfilling lives. Through a well-structured curriculum, students learn essential culinary techniques, sewing skills, and effective money management strategies for household chores. By fostering these valuable life skills, we aim to empower our students to become confident, independent, and well-rounded individuals.
