About Tamil Union

The Tamil Union is dedicated to promoting the rich cultural heritage and language of Tamil among students. Guided by the wisdom of Thirukural, which emphasizes the importance of following a faultless path, the union aims to instill a sense of pride and understanding of Tamil literature and traditions. Under the leadership of teachers-in-charge, including Ms. Joyce Christy for Grades 6 to 8 and Ms. Vahini Sritharan for Grades 9 and 10, the Tamil Union engages students in various activities that enhance their language skills and cultural awareness. Recent achievements, such as outstanding performances in poetry writing and essay competitions, reflect the union's commitment to excellence and the encouragement of students to excel in their Tamil studies.
